Today we let the cat out for a bit of an explore. She’s not enjoying the cold much and retreated to a warm windowsill pretty sharpish.
I’ve put a little basket of pink cyclamen from our old place outside the back door. They are a lovely bright touch at this time of year. I was pleasantly surprised to find a few more of this same variety of cyclamen are already here in the garden.

And here is that same spot ten days later… Underneath all those leaves there’s potential.
Here’s that same spot after a brush up (and a sit down). The cyclamen are just under the tree – they’re tiny, so here’s a close up.
I’m glad I swept the leaves, otherwise these little beauties would have remained smothered. I wonder what other treats this garden will grow?
