I’m running a little test. On Monday evening, I cut fresh garden flowers. Group A were placed in water, and group B into water with a conditioning liquid.
The conditioning liquid I’m testing is made of vodka and honey.
The hypothesis is that the vodka will kill bacteria, and the sugars in the honey will feed the flowers, making the bouquet last longer.
On Tuesday, I arranged each bunch into vases, and put them on the dresser.
This is how they looked on Thursday. Both were still in very good shape.
I’ll keep an eye on them and post more pictures over the next few days…
