Seven months in sixty seconds

SELCo, The Shared Earth Learning Co-operative is based in Frome, and aims to nurture a love of nature.  They run Forest School and horticulture projects, and I’ve spent a bit of time with them this year helping out a little bit and taking lots of photos.

Here’s a short video of the year so far at Forest School, 7 months in 60 seconds.

It’s great to join a group with shared interests, and joining SELCo has been one of my favourite things this year so far. It’s nice to be outdoors, growing things, and helping out at Forest School. I’ve whittled a few sticks and sown a few seeds. 🙂

At home, new plans are afoot to replant the borders and rescue the lawn after a scorching few weeks followed by two days of rain. I’m losing the battle with bindweed on several fronts, some of the willow cuttings are dead, and not all of the new plants have survived the drought, but overall everything’s swell.

I hope your plans and plants are coming along nicely.
