Regular readers may recall this blog is about a plan, to move house and get on with making a good life. We decided, about three years ago, that instead of talking about ‘The Plan’ we’d better get on and do it.
So we sold our house, moved out of London, to Somerset, and I quit working full time. I wanted to spend more time living life and less time earning the money to do so.
We moved into a home that had been on the market for a while after the previous owner died. The house was lovely, and quirky, and we did it up the house and garden, and then sold it on for a fair bit more than we paid for it.

Now we are in a slightly smaller house, with a much larger garden, and a beautiful view over the hills. I’m delighted to be here and feel very lucky indeed to have this place to call our own.
It is not without snags, and needs quite a bit of work to be done. But we are already settling in nicely. Today I planted cosmos and sunflower seeds, and I look forward a summer of flowers and fun times.
I hope that wherever you are and whatever you’ve planned, that all turns out well.

It is nice to know that ‘plans’ work out for some of us. Mine did not, but then, there were other plans.
