Just a few snaps for a belated Six on Saturday.
There’s a painted lady butterfly, the yukka in full flower, and the horse head statue surrounded with flowers.
The perennial sweetpea seeds that Mandy sent us by post from Sunny Scotland have germinated. There was a lovely little honey bee on a milk thistle, and there’s wild mallow in the wildflower patch.

Delighted that your Lathyrus latifolius seeds have taken! Can’t remember whether i sent you the regular bright pink ones or the very pale pink ones, which we bought a couple of years ago. Both of which are making a strong bid for world domination in our garden this year … And your yucca is amazing! Our nextdoor neighbours have one, but it’s still in bud, not having had the over-30 temperatures.
How nice that you got perennial pea seed to germinate and grow. Seed are somehow difficult to find (here), probably because birds get them first. When I do find any, they do not germinate. I found it easier to dig up the thick roots to relocate where I want them. There are plenty that grow where we do not want them. In the process, I found some white perennial pea that is very pretty.
The Yucca looks amazing. It must light up that part of your border
