We grew a little lemon this summer and it has just about   ripened. It looks superb in the winter sunshine.

I heard that it’s traditional to leave the first fruit on the tree. Google has nothing on why this might be a good idea, but it sounds kinda cute.

So I can’t decide if I should harvest it, or leave it on the plant as an offering. Is this lemon destined to be an offering to the spirits, or served with spirits in a lovely G&T?  Hm.
