It’s fun to send flowers. I picked a bunch this morning for my cousin.
I’m testing ways of sending bouquets by post.
This little lot went out to friends and family today.
They look good when they’re fresh from the garden, but I’ve no idea if they’ll make it through the mail ok.
I sent:
On Friday: three bunches, of quince, crabapple, pear, dogwood and willow, by first class post.
On Saturday: three similar bunches by first class mail, and three second class. First class post is supposed to arrive on the next working day. Second class is cheaper, but can sometimes arrive just as quickly, so said the lovely lady at the post office.
Time will tell how this little test works out. Apologies in advance to anyone who gets a bunch of dry, squashed twigs!
