Despite the rain I’ve picked some blooms: snakes head fritillaries, photenia red robin, and more of the lovely pear blossoms.
I’m loving the way the garden reveals new treats each week, like the pear tree blossoms. They’re in bud and should open soon. I’m curious to see what colour they’ll be.
The posy also includes the red foliage and flowers of photenia red robin, one of the large plants that moved with us from London to Somerset a few months ago.
The stars of the show are these snakehead fritillaries, which were a housewarming gift.
All these blooms are from close to the house, I didn’t venture far into the garden yet, due to pouring rain!
