The pansies, crocus, snowdrops and daffodils that I planted out a few months ago really brighten up the view from the back door.
It’s not spring yet, but these flowers are sheltered and blooming early, and they let me pretend that it’s not actually winter.
I’m ignoring the forecast for snow next week.
Hibernation continues in the garden – we want to reshape the lawn and put in a path, but not until the weather improves. Meanwhile, its a bit of mess, with a few patches of colour but not as many as I’d like.
In other news, I’ve got a part time job in digital marketing, and another part time job working as a play ranger with a forest school. It’s a nice contrast, and pays the bills. I’m learning to make baskets for gardens, and planning a return for Frome Blooms in spring.
I hope your plans and plants are coming along nicely 🙂
Snow?
We all seem to be getting weird changes in the weather recently. Ours was very warm, only to get slightly frosty (which is normal for this time of year). We really could use some more winter.
