It won’t be long until there are leaves on the beech tree, but for now we can still see the landscape and borrow a bit of that view for our garden.
Let’s go down the garden path…
Where the weeds / wildflowers are starting to bloom in the mini-meadow
There are beetroot seedlings almost ready for planting out in the veg bed.
The wild garlic patch is in flower, and probably has only one more harvest left. There will be pesto.
Back up by the house, I’ve planted up some hanging baskets with petunia ‘nightsky’ and fuschias.
See more selections of garden highlights for Six on Saturday…
Have a lovely weekend,
Jen x
I was just about to say your beetroot seedlings are huge already, and then I noticed the little tray in the centre of the bed! Perhaps they are the same size as mine after all 🙂
The garden is looking lovely.

What’s the pink wildflower in photo 3? And that deep purple petunia looks particularly good. perhaps for the hanging baskets at the allotment … xx

Hi Mandy, that might be a red campion in pic 3, I’m not quite sure… Really looking forward to seeing you in the garden later this spring xx

Ah, could b a red campion. We’ve got a very vigorous white campion that planted itself in a pot last year and has returned.
And very much looking forward to a wander round your garden too! xx

Oh, I forget that it is time for warm season annuals, such as petunias.

A borrowed landscape is something really special to have at the end of your garden. 😊
