This week’s Six on Saturday selection was made as the last of today’s sunlight hit the garden.

The campanula has grown rather charmingly around the horsehead statue, forming a floral garland that I rather like the look of.
The new roses in our new rose bed have begun to flower. The rose patch is coming together nicely.

The Canterbury Bells have done really well but they need a bit of support to stop them going floppy. I enjoyed how the blackbird sat on the fence above them as the cat napped below.

The nasturtiums grown from seed collected last year are starting to bloom.

And the cosmos that I grew from seed, and have been meaning to plant out for at least two weeks, is still sitting in the greenhouse. I really will try to get them into the ground tomorrow.

And finally, I was happy this week that aomeone in the #BirdData team in a source used in my #BirdSong guessing game said it’s
“Fantastic to see and very cool”
So I can now say that my bird song game is “a very cool” where the aim is to cherish the chorus.
You can play it for free, usinkg the link below. I don’t think anyone’s completed it yet, so if you get to the final screen please let me know and I’ll give you a shout out and a (picture of) a shiny gold star.

Instant comment on the dawn chorus: Graham and I finished it t’other day, but hadn’t got around to telling you yet. Xx
Ooh congratulations! I’m glad to hear you’ve completed it, and will send you (a picture of) a gold star each 🙂
Spectacular horse’s head statue for the garden.
It is nice to see that someone else appreciates nasturtium. It was my first flower, and is still among my favorites.
