Kick Off: the birthday camellia

Phase one of the plan is complete! Kicked off phase two by   replanting the camellia in the new garden. This part of the plan is all about more time in the garden.

We’ve moved to Frome in Somerset for a quieter life and a bigger garden. The house is ours and we’ve quit the rat race. I hope to create a profitable market garden here, and hopefully avoid the office forever.

The house was previously occupied by a woman called Fred, who was a founding member of the Frome festival team. She made a wonderful garden – full of fruit trees, climbing flowers, spring bulbs, many pots and a marvellous shed.

It is a privilege to be here and I hope to make the most of it. Lots to plan and lots to plant. 🙂
