Ouch. I think my runner beans have gone the same way. No sign of them and they normally germinate quick. I reckon they got munched on arrival.
Fetch the nematodes!
I’ve not tried that yet – thanks for the tip. Do you find that they work?
Well, I’ve planted delphiniums every year for past 5 yrs, and this time (in soil that had just been treated) they have actually made it to the end of week 1 without being munched. So I’m pretty happy with the investment.
