Cuttings update

About two months ago I took cuttings from our London garden, so that my favourite plant varieties could join us in the new garden.

After the move and some freezing nights, the hardwood cuttings seemed ok…

…but the tender plants like Cape Daises had suffered.

So I put the surviving Cape Daisy cuttings under a cloche to give them the best chance.

And now one of them has grown some teeny new leaves!

If this plucky little plant makes it through winter, I’ll give it the sunniest spot in the garden.
